The bursary covers:

- Tuition fees

Important Note:
If a student fails a subject, they must personally fund the rewrite of the test/course. Additionally, Reatile Foundation Trust will only sponsor one attempt per level of study.
Graduates who complete their qualifications in scarce and critical skill areas may also have the opportunity to apply for internships at Egoli Gas, a company within Reatile’s investment portfolio, aligning with the organization’s vision of holistic skill development.
Shortlisted candidates will be notified within one month of the closing date. If you do not receive feedback by then, please consider your application unsuccessful.
Eligibility Requirements for the Reatile Foundation Trust Bursary
Before applying, ensure you meet these criteria:
- Must be a South African citizen.
- Must be black (as defined by the BEE Act).
- Must have completed Matric.
- Must be studying at the University of Johannesburg (UJ).
- Must be enrolled full-time in one of the aforementioned fields.
- Must be entering 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year of study in 2025.
- Must have achieved at least a 65% overall aggregate in 2024.
- Must have financial need.
- Combined household gross income must not exceed R30 000 per month.
- Must not be receiving financial support from other bursaries or third-party sponsors.
- Must be eager to make a positive impact in their field and community.
