About the Cyril Ramaphosa Foundation & CRET
The Cyril Ramaphosa Education Trust (CRET) Bursary Programme was established by the Cyril Ramaphosa Foundation, an independent non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of South African youth through education and enterprise development. Since its inception in 1996, when President Cyril Ramaphosa began funding disadvantaged students from his public speaking earnings, the Foundation has been committed to creating opportunities for those who need them most.
