Agbiz Centenary Bursary South Africa 2025: Empowering Future Agribusiness Leaders

About Agbiz

The Agricultural Business Chamber (Agbiz) is a leading association of agribusinesses operating in South Africa and southern Africa. Established in 1946 as the Co-operative Council to represent agricultural co-operatives, it has evolved significantly over the years. In 1995, following the deregulation of agriculture in South Africa, it became the Agricultural Co-operative Business (ACB). It was later renamed the Agricultural Business Chamber (ABC) in 2003 and finally rebranded as Agbiz in 2012.

Today, Agbiz is dedicated to ensuring that agribusiness positively influences the development, transformation, and economic growth of South Africa. Their slogan, “The way to prosperity,” reflects their commitment to fostering a thriving agricultural sector.
